Since my theme is about school, and good grades I think I should be allowed to talk about writing... Especially since writing is such a big deal in school as well as the world and your everyday life. I mean can you really say you hate writing? No. Not until you narrow the word writing down. If you just simply say, "I hate writing, no matter what it is" is that really possible? Do you really hate reading then too? Because when I think of writing I think of penmenship and the notes kids write in class, the notes my mom leaves me, or even the grafity on trains. So personally-WRITING is such a BIG WORD in my dictionary.
So now its time to narrow that word down! When your sitting in an English class and all of a sudden you hear someone say "I hate writing" you can relate to it because you know what they are talking about. You know that they are talking about all of those hard, forcing assignments when the only reason you know they did it is because they had to write it to get the grade. Everyone that has gone through school can relate to this. Even if you are one of those that say "I love writing, no matter what it is!" But really, there is always some form or something you dont like to write about. Its not a bad thing at all- it is just part of your personality. And this is exactly what Im getting to... People love to write when they can express their feelings. And yes I know this sounds cheesy. But for example: When your assigned an essay about sports. And your a sports fanatic- your going to enjoy writing the paper. (AM I making any sense?! heh) another example: is ME! If I can sit down and write this blog and express how I feel, I will write all day everyday. Because it is soooo... nice being able to say what I need to say and write what I want to write. In other words: I LOVE THIS ASSIGNMENT! so thanks! :)
And I can give advice about writing too.... because i am that typical student who always, "I hate writing" and the only reason i write is because I have to for school. and in all honesty- sometimes i dont even do the assignment because I make myself write. But when I can write about something I enjoy, I LOVE IT!
